These Rules explain how booking, cancelling, no-shows, bans and organising work in Emvipi. They are part of the Terms of Use. The app enforces most of them automatically; the numbers below are the ones the app uses today. If a rule in the app changes, we will update this page first (see Terms, section "Changes").
Words used here
- Game: a pickup game posted in Emvipi by an organiser.
- Organiser: a user approved by Emvipi to post games.
- Player: a user who books a spot in a game.
- Kick-off: the start time shown on the game. All times are Tashkent time (UTC+5).
- No-show: a booked person who did not come, or a booking cancelled too late (section 3).
1. Booking a spot
- Booking is free in the app. You pay the game price in cash to the organiser at the pitch. Pay the organiser only at the game, after you arrive. Never pay in advance. Emvipi never asks for prepayment; report anyone who does (section 5). Emvipi does not take player payments in the app today; this may change later, and we will tell you before it does.
- You can have one active booking per game.
- You may book spots for friends, up to the number the organiser allows (0 to 5 per booking, never more than the free spots). Each friend takes a full spot. You are responsible for your friends coming (see section 3).
- A game may show a required level. It is a guide for fair games; the app warns you but does not stop you booking.
- You cannot book if:
- the game is full (you can turn on a "spot freed" alert instead);
- you are under a booking ban (section 4);
- the organiser has blocked you;
- Emvipi has approved a one-game restriction for you in that organiser's next game (section 5).
- Free games. Emvipi may give you a free game (for example as a welcome bonus or after a cancelled game). A free game covers your own spot only, in games priced up to [50 000] so'm. Free games given as a bonus expire [90] days after they are given. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
2. Cancelling your booking
| When you cancel | Result |
|---|---|
| 24 hours or more before kick-off | Free. No penalty. A free game you used comes back to you. |
| Less than 24 hours before kick-off | Counts as one no-show. |
| Removing a friend less than 24 hours before kick-off | Counts as one no-show for you (the booker). |
Cancel in the app as soon as you know you cannot come, so someone else can take the spot.
3. No-shows
- The organiser marks who came, from 1 hour before kick-off until 12 hours after the game ends.
- Each booked person who did not come is one no-show for the booker. If you booked 2 friends and one did not come, that is one no-show for you.
- If the organiser marks nobody, nobody gets a no-show.
- 12 hours after the game ends, attendance is locked and no-shows are applied.
- Appeal. If you think a no-show is wrong, write to support within [7] days (Terms, section "Contact"). An Emvipi admin checks it and keeps or removes the no-show in the admin panel, and tells you the result. A removed no-show no longer counts toward a ban.
4. Bans
Automatic ban for no-shows
- 3 no-shows = a 7-day booking ban. The ban starts at the third no-show. After it, your count starts again at 0.
- During a ban you can use the app but cannot book.
Ban after a report
- Emvipi admins can ban a user for 7 days, 30 days or permanently after a report of fake profile, offensive photo or name, abuse or threats, fraud, a fake game, or other serious breaches of these Rules or the Terms.
- When a player is banned, their bookings in games that have not started are removed (no no-show, free games returned).
- When an organiser is banned or suspended, they cannot post new games. Organiser suspended by Emvipi: their upcoming games are cancelled and booked players are told (nobody gets a no-show, free games are returned). The posting fees for those games are refunded, except when the organiser is suspended for fraud: then they are not refunded.
- A ban ends at its end date; a permanent ban is lifted only by an admin.
- Deleting your account does not end a ban: if you sign up again during a ban, the ban still applies (see Privacy Policy, "phone hash").
5. Blocking, reporting and restrictions
- You can block any user. A blocked user's name and photo are hidden from you and yours from them.
- If an organiser blocks a player, the player's bookings in that organiser's games that have not started are removed (no no-show, free game returned), the player is told by a push, and they cannot book that organiser's games.
- You can report a person, a game or a photo. Emvipi reviews every report. The reported person is not told who reported them. You get a message when your report has been reviewed.
One-game restriction (organisers)
- If a player behaved badly at a game (rude, aggressive, broke the rules on purpose), the organiser can ask Emvipi to keep that player out of the organiser's next game. The request must give a reason and may add a video link as proof.
- Emvipi admins decide: they approve or reject the request and always give a reason. Admins may contact the player before deciding.
- Both the organiser and the player are told the decision and the reason.
- If approved, the player cannot book that organiser's next game; if they had already booked it, the booking is removed (no no-show, free game returned). The restriction ends after that one game.
- Appeal: a player who disagrees can write to support (Terms, "Contact"). An Emvipi admin reviews it and keeps or removes the restriction in the admin panel, and tells both sides. Repeated or serious cases may lead to a ban (section 4).
- Organisers must not use requests to push out players for personal reasons. Unfounded requests may be rejected and repeated abuse may lead to suspension of organiser rights.
6. When a game is cancelled
Not enough players (automatic)
- Each game has a minimum number of players (bookings, friends and the organiser's own off-app players count).
- 6 hours before kick-off, if the game is below the minimum, the organiser is warned.
- 3 hours before kick-off, if it is still below the minimum, the game is cancelled automatically, unless the organiser chose "Play anyway".
- Morning games (kick-off before 10:00): the warning is at 18:00 and the decision at 21:00 on the evening before.
- Everyone booked gets one notification. Nobody gets a no-show. Free games and the organiser's posting fee are returned.
Cancelled by the organiser
- The organiser must give a reason, which booked players see.
- Nobody gets a no-show; free games are returned.
- The cancellation shows in the organiser's public cancellation rate if the game had enough players at that moment.
Cancelled by Emvipi
- Admins may cancel a game that breaks these Rules (for example a fake game or wrong place). If the organiser is suspended, all their upcoming games are cancelled (section 4).
Emvipi does not pay players any compensation for a cancelled game. Players never pay in the app, so there is nothing to refund to players. [LAWYER: check this against the Consumer Protection Law.]
7. Changes to a game after people booked
Once anyone has booked, the organiser cannot: raise the price, or change the sport, venue, time, length, format or team size. To change these they must cancel and post again. The organiser can: lower the price, add or remove spots (not below the number booked), lower the minimum, and change the rotation, level and notes. Booked players are notified of every change.
8. Becoming an organiser
- Any user may apply in the app ("Become organiser"). You tell us the sports, district, venues, experience and how often you run games, and may add Telegram or Instagram links.
- Emvipi approves or rejects each application. A rejection always has a reason. You can withdraw an application and apply again.
- Emvipi may suspend an organiser who breaks these Rules.
9. Organiser duties
As an organiser you agree to:
- Post true information: real venue, address, map pin, time, price, format and number of spots. The venue needs at least one real photo you took.
- Have the right to use the venue at that time (your own booking or agreement with the venue owner). Emvipi does not book or rent venues.
- Be there or send a responsible person, start on time, and run the game fairly.
- Charge only the price shown, and only at the game. Collect cash at the pitch after players arrive. Never ask players to pay in advance – asking for prepayment is treated as fraud. You are responsible for your own taxes, registration and receipts for this income, as the law requires. [LAWYER: check whether organisers need IP / self-employed status and a cash receipt (fiscal) obligation.]
- Not raise the price or change the game in ways section 7 forbids.
- Mark attendance honestly within the time allowed. A false no-show mark is a breach of these Rules.
- Cancel only when needed, with a true reason, as early as possible.
- Keep players safe: a venue fit for play, no one forced to play, call emergency help (103 ambulance, 112) if someone is hurt.
- Treat all players fairly. No harassment or discrimination.
- Photos: upload only photos of the game you ran, from kick-off to 7 days after the game, up to 10 per game. Photos are shown only after Emvipi approves them. Do not upload photos of people who asked not to be photographed. [LAWYER: consent of people in photos.]
- Not move players off Emvipi to avoid the rules (for example taking bookings for an Emvipi game by phone while keeping spots hidden). Your own off-app players must be entered as "off-app players" so spots stay correct.
10. Posting fee (organisers)
- Your first 5 games are free (trial postings; they do not expire).
- After that, each game costs a posting fee shown in the app at the time of posting (today 50,000 so'm), paid by bank card in the app through our payment provider [Multicard / "Rahmat"]. You get an electronic receipt.
- You may also earn bonus free postings: +1 for each player who came to your game on a free game. Bonus postings expire after [90] days.
- Fee back:
- Game cancelled automatically (not enough players): fee always returned (card refund, or the free posting comes back).
- Cancelled by you 24 hours or more before kick-off: fee returned.
- Cancelled by you less than 24 hours before kick-off, or you chose "Play anyway": no refund.
- Payment arrived after the 3-hour limit: refunded.
- Weekly repeat: each weekly copy needs its own fee (or free posting). A copy that is not paid by kick-off is cancelled, nothing is charged, and the series stops.
- The posting fee is held until the game is confirmed (3 hours before kick-off; 21:00 the evening before for morning games). Card refunds go back to the same card as soon as possible, within 1–7 working days (see the Refund Policy).
- Suspension for fraud: if Emvipi suspends you for fraud, your upcoming games are cancelled and their posting fees are not refunded.
11. Fair play and conduct (everyone)
- Respect other players, organisers and venue staff. No violence, threats, insults or hate.
- No alcohol or drugs before or during games.
- Play at your own risk and within your health limits (Terms, "Safety").
- One person, one account. Do not share your account or book under a false name.
- Do not use Emvipi to sell anything other than spots in the game.
12. Ratings and public information
Ratings
- After each game, players are asked (never forced) to rate the organiser: 1 to 5 stars, optional issue tags (no water, late start, dirty bibs/shirts, rules not followed, unfair teams) and an optional comment.
- Organisers do not rate players. Their tool for bad behaviour is the one-game restriction request (section 5).
- An organiser's average rating is shown on their profile and games. [OWNER: who sees the tags and comments – everyone, or only the organiser and admins? Is the rater's name shown?]
- Ratings must be honest and about the game. Insults, threats or personal data in comments are not allowed; Emvipi may hide such comments.
Public information
Others in the app can see: your first name and last-name initial, photo, level per sport and number of games played in Emvipi. Your reliability (how often you came when booked) is seen only by you and the organisers of games you book. For organisers, everyone sees: games hosted, cancellation rate and average rating. These numbers are built from your history and are not edited by hand.
Questions about these Rules: in the app (Profile → Help & support → Contact us).
